Refund Request Policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your Habitify Premium subscription. If you're not happy with your purchase, we offer refunds under certain conditions.

Refund Eligibility

✅ Eligible for Refund

You may request a refund if:

  • Technical Issues: The app has persistent technical problems that prevent normal usage
  • Accidental Purchase: You or someone with access to your device made an unintended purchase
  • Double Billing: You were charged multiple times for the same subscription period
  • First-time Subscribers: Within 14 days of your first premium subscription
  • Service Unavailability: Extended server outages (>24 hours) during your subscription period

❌ Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Change of mind after 14 days
  • Partial month/year usage
  • Features not meeting personal expectations
  • Forgetting to cancel before renewal
  • Price changes after purchase
  • Violation of our Terms of Service

How to Request a Refund

For iOS Users (App Store)

Apple handles all billing for iOS purchases. To request a refund:

  1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  2. Sign in with your Apple ID
  3. Find your Habitify purchase
  4. Click "Report a Problem"
  5. Select your reason and submit

Alternative method:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your name → Media & Purchases
  3. Tap "View Account" → "Purchase History"
  4. Find Habitify and tap "Report a Problem"

For Android Users (Google Play)

  1. Visit play.google.com
  2. Go to Account → Order History
  3. Find your Habitify purchase
  4. Select "Request a refund"
  5. Fill out the form and submit

Within 48 hours of purchase:

  • You can request an instant refund through Google Play

After 48 hours:

  • Submit a refund request form
  • Google will review within 4 business days

For Web Purchases (Paddle)

If you purchased directly through our website:

  1. Email us at billing@habitify.me with:

    • Your purchase email address
    • Order number (found in your receipt email)
    • Reason for refund request
    • Date of purchase
  2. Include details:

Partial Refunds

We may offer partial refunds for:

  • Service disruptions affecting >10% of your subscription period
  • Major feature removals during your subscription
  • Billing errors in your favor

After Your Refund

Once your refund is processed:

  • Your Premium features will be immediately disabled
  • You'll retain your habit data and history
  • You can resubscribe at any time
  • Promotional prices may no longer be available

Special Circumstances

Student Discounts

If you're eligible for our student discount but paid full price:

  1. We'll refund the difference
  2. Apply the student discount going forward
  3. Requires valid student ID verification

Regional Pricing Errors

If you were incorrectly charged due to location detection:

  • Full refund and option to repurchase at correct regional price

Q: Can I get a refund if I forgot to cancel? A: Generally no, but if you haven't used the service since renewal and request within 48 hours, we may make an exception.

Q: What if the store rejected my refund? A: Contact us at support@habitify.me with your case number, and we'll try to help.

Q: Can I transfer my subscription instead of refunding? A: Yes, we can transfer subscriptions between platforms. Contact billing@habitify.me.

Q: Will I lose my data if I get a refund? A: No, your data remains intact. You'll just lose access to Premium features.

  • Use the 7-day free trial before purchasing
  • Set calendar reminders before renewal dates

  • Enable purchase confirmations on your device
